Hosting a Tournament

Hosting a Palm Beach Middle School Tournament (PBMST) is a great way to showcase your school, support speech and debate opportunities for students across Palm Beach County, and raise funds for your program.

Host schools receive $7 per attendee (students, judges, and coaches). Depending on tournament size, this often results in $1,500–$2,500+ in revenue for the host program. Many schools further increase fundraising by coordinating food and beverage donations from families and community supporters.

Summer Speech & Debate Camps

Summer camps are one of the best ways for students to accelerate their growth as speakers, debaters, and leaders. In a concentrated learning environment, students receive individualized coaching, develop stronger communication skills, build confidence, and gain experience working with peers who share similar interests.

Students often return from summer institutes with:

  • Stronger public speaking and presentation skills

  • Improved argumentation and critical thinking abilities

  • Greater confidence in competition

  • New friendships with students from across Florida and beyond

  • Fresh ideas and strategies to bring back to their school teams
