Hosting a Tournament
Hosting a Palm Beach Middle School Tournament (PBMST) is a great way to showcase your school, support speech and debate opportunities for students across Palm Beach County, and raise funds for your program.
Host schools receive $7 per attendee (students, judges, and coaches). Depending on tournament size, this often results in $1,500–$2,500+ in revenue for the host program. Many schools further increase fundraising by coordinating food and beverage donations from families and community supporters.
Summer Speech & Debate Camps
Summer camps are one of the best ways for students to accelerate their growth as speakers, debaters, and leaders. In a concentrated learning environment, students receive individualized coaching, develop stronger communication skills, build confidence, and gain experience working with peers who share similar interests.
Students often return from summer institutes with:
Stronger public speaking and presentation skills
Improved argumentation and critical thinking abilities
Greater confidence in competition
New friendships with students from across Florida and beyond
Fresh ideas and strategies to bring back to their school teams
